Dallas County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of the 2010 Census, the population was 66,135. Its county seat is Adel. The county was named for George M. Dallas, Vice President of the United States under James K. Polk, the namesake of neighboring Polk County.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 592 square miles (1,530 km²), of which 588 square miles (1,520 km²) is land and 3.3 square miles (8.5 km²) (0.5%) is water.
